Another site visit to take a look at a fan.
The initial remit was to try and repair the fan and get it back in to service as soon as possible.
However, on closer inspection the fan was found to be way beyond any sort of repair.
All structural integrity had been lost, as soon as the fan was unbolted from the chassis it collapsed under its own weight.
Being 20 plus years old a direct replacement was not available, the modern alternative had different mountings so some engineering work was required to make it fit.
The fan is powered by 2 of our 18.5Kw 4 pole electric motors.
