We offer a comprehensive range of in line helical, helical bevel and worm geared motors, all built from stock components.
All units have standard IEC motor inputs which means a standard frame IEC replacement can be fitted.
This is a huge benefit in the event of a motor failure, the motor can simply be removed (4 bolts) without loss of lubricant and be replaced in less than 1 hour, if you are currently using a close coupled geared motor (the motor shaft has been reduced for a pinion) the motor cannot be removed without losing the lubricant and the only option you have is a motor rewind or expensive replacement from the manufacturer, the downtime costs alone can be costly.
All units in the range (in line helical, helical bevel, helical worm and parallel shaft) use this “easy fit” system.
A full range of mounting arrangements are possible, foot, flange or a combination of the 2, we can also manufacture special shafts or flanges if required.
Worm geared units are also stocked up to and including size 75, we can supply either a hollow or solid output shaft, torque arm or a range of output flanges.
Ratios up to 100:1, alternatively we can add a helical input stage if required.
For gear ratios up to 300:1 we have our helical Bevel unit, this shares its dimensions with the worm geared unit but offers better efficiency and higher torque capability.
