To compliment our range of electric motors we stock a comprehensive range of inverters, IP20 for
panel mounting and a range of IP66 drives for wall mounting locally to the application – this option
comes complete with its own isolator, start / stop switches and potentiometer.
Modern day inverters are supremely effective at reducing operating costs when utilised on variable torque applications such as fans and pumps.
A 20% reduction in speed equates to a 50% reduction in energy used, when operated in a closed loop configuration the cost savings are even greater.
For constant torque applications the “easy ramp” facility will extend the life of chains, sprockets and belts.
The inverter will also (if selected and programmed correctly) protect against over current, over / under voltage issues.
Whatever the application, inverters really are a worth while addition.
